Welcome to Shayne’s Portal. We all need that escape from the harsh reality of life sometimes. Whether to guide me through my depression, or simply a writer’s block, I resort to my fan fiction and music that puts me into that world.This is mine.
A combination of my long-term appreciation of the show, “La Femme Nikita” and my passion for writing and the film industry, I started writing fan fiction for the show at the age of seventeen, but didn’t resurface to it until later in my adult life at the age of twenty-six as a tool to resort to for my recovery of alcohol and medication abuse.
Might I add, this fandom has brought me a few opportunities from meet and greets to interviews with numerous artists within the realm of LFN. I also had the privilege back in May 2017 to be involved in the 20th anniversary reunion convention in Toronto, Ontario. I was the Chair of Photography and led the team of photographers to capture the event, as well as, specialized in the security team, for that is my every day background beyond my artistic interests.
Below this blurb is all my work related to LFN, as well as, a music playlist where I may have added to the music from the soundtrack of LFN to that I felt fit the theme and mood of the show.
Being able to work with new individuals, developing friendships, and connect with the crew and meet half of the cast members was such a highlight in my life and it deserves it’s very own spotlight to shine in since it has given me a new inspiration, yet again, to provide my talents in this world.
